Sunday comes every week. Before you know it – its here. As the main communicator for Mosaic, speaking most weekends can get a little monotonous. This routine causes me to go hyper creative, which causes me to get side tracked. The following template guides me and helps me stay on course – I thought it might be helpful.
Template for Sunday morning talks:
1. Opener
2. Tie in to today’s talk
3. Explain or introduce the series
4. Hit on next week or next series/why they should invite people
5. Today’s thought/message/ “the problem”
6. Explain why it’s important/relevant to their life
7. What is the normal reaction to this “problem”
8. What does the bible say in regards to the “problem”
9. Why what the bibles says is the answer(s)
10. How to apply
11. What they need to do today
12. Why they need to change today/closing point/story/thought
13. How you can use response time to express your commitment
