Living by Faith

What does it mean to live by faith?

I know a couple in their 50’s who recently lost their home. This present economy has unfortunately caused many to experience such disappointment and loss.  This couple who had enjoyed the seemingly simple luxury of having their own home were forced to move in with friends. Just stop and think about it, what if your parents or grandparents lost everything right now and had to move in with friends – or, harder still, what if you had to?  Would you lose your faith?

The Man Rules

I came across this list of “rules” the other day, made me laugh! Thought I would share it since we’re in the middle of our “When Love…” series. Note: I didn’t say I agreed with all of them, just that they are funny.

The Man Rules:

1. Crying is blackmail.

2. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one: Subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work! Obvious hints do not work! Just say it!

3. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That’s what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.

4. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become Null and void after 7 Days.
