Fences and Bridges

Question: If your church ministries and programs could be likened to a fence or a bridge, what would they be?

My wife, with the help of some great people, founded a non-profit called WhatIfEveryone.com. The organization exists to inspire and help everyone to serve their world. It was founded by Mosaic but not for Mosaic. It was not a “serve” day or week to gather our people to be less selfish and actually serve (nothing wrong with that, just wasn’t our motive) – It was create to be more, to gather anyone and everyone to serve anyone and everyone.

Recently, we had a board meeting in which we were faced with hard decisions. There was healthy conflict and tension- all good stuff….

A new day

Before the first month of 2012 passes by, remember… It’s a new day, and beginning of a new season. It has the potential of being great, but it will depend on you doing your part - because God will do his. Run after him, find time, make time to get alone with him. Don’t let other things take the place of your time with him. Don’t let other activities and things make you feel rested and at peace. They are fake, their rest fades away quick. Most things that take the place of him – ensnare us. Change your routine. Rewrite your priority list and assign time for things appropriately. Don’t let routine and a to-do list govern your schedule.
