Wins and Good stuff

Every Tuesday morning, the Mosaic staff gets together to celebrate what God is doing at our church and to pray over the needs of our community.
For the longest time I would ask for ‘God stuff’ going on in people’s lives, ministry or whatever. The staff would share great things that God was doing- amazing stuff but I felt we lacked a little focus.

I felt we could to a better job connecting our God stuff to our vision – to why we exist. We exist to make people passionate followers of Christ who live by faith, who are known for love and who are voice of hope.

Milk and Jesus

You never really grow out of milk. Growing up we are taught that we need milk (be it organic, whole, soy, weird) so drinking milk as a young adult seems normal.  But as we get older, most of us stop drinking milk (dunking your cookies in milk doesn’t count) – why is that?

Is it that we think it’s only necessary when you are young but drinking milk as a grown adult seems unnecessary and a bit childish?  Yet studies continue to stress the importance of milk in our diet – because we never really “grow out of” needing milk.

Naeem Fazal was born and raised in Kuwait. He grew up in a Muslim household, was a teenager in the midst of the Gulf War, and came to the United States in 1992. He had a supernatural experience with Christ that changed the course of his life. Naeem is married to Ashley and is a proud father of his two children.
